About this coloring page

This adult poppy coloring page contrasts three open flowers with a partly opened bud and two rounded seed pods. Broad, lightly crinkled petals surround open centers, while branching stems and a small number of leaves keep the composition airy. The pods add a second botanical form and a different kind of detail.

Color the petals with subtle variation or use strong contrasts to emphasize their delicate edges. The clean outlines and spaced arrangement make this a satisfying study of a flower’s changing forms without crowding the page.
