Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for digital products purchased from Chirpy Pages. All items sold here are delivered digitally and are not physical goods.

1. 14-Day Consumer Cancellation Rights

If your local consumer laws provide a 14-day cancellation right (such as the EU withdrawal period), you may cancel your purchase within 14 days unless the exception for digital downloads applies.

For digital content that is delivered immediately, your 14-day right to cancel ends once the download, streaming, opening, or other access begins. By downloading or accessing your files, you agree to this immediate-access condition.

2. Digital Downloads

All products on Chirpy Pages are digital files (PDF worksheets, printables, templates, etc.). Because digital items cannot be physically returned, refunds work differently than they do for physical goods.

3. Product Previews

Every product includes a preview so you can see exactly what you are buying before you purchase. This helps reduce confusion and ensures transparency about the item’s content.

4. When We Offer Refunds

You may request a refund if:

  • You purchased the wrong item and have not downloaded or accessed it yet.
  • You were charged twice by mistake.
  • The file is damaged, incomplete, or not opening, and we cannot fix the issue quickly.
  • You were charged but did not receive your download.

Please note that the 14-day legal cancellation right expires after 14 days or once the digital download begins. Any refunds outside this period are handled as goodwill and at our discretion.

5. When Refunds Are Not Possible

  • Digital products that have already been downloaded, streamed, opened, or otherwise accessed (the 14-day cancellation right ends immediately once access begins).
  • “Changed my mind” requests made after downloading or accessing the product.
  • “Changed my mind” requests made after the 14-day cancellation period, even if the file was not downloaded.
  • Requests made after the 14-day cancellation period where the product matches the preview shown before purchase.
  • Requests outside the refund conditions listed in Section 4 (e.g., dissatisfaction with style, personal preference, or content after access).
  • Cases involving suspected fraud, refund abuse, chargeback manipulation, or other dishonest behaviour.

6. How Refunds Work (Paddle)

All payments on this website are processed by Paddle, our secure payment partner and Merchant of Record. Paddle also handles all refunds in line with their Buyer Terms.

You can request a refund by:

  • Emailing us at info@chirpypages.com
  • Using the “Manage Order” link found in your Paddle receipt
  • Sending any clear written statement expressing your intention to cancel

7. Processing Time

Refunds are usually completed within 3–5 business days once approved. When consumer cancellation laws apply, refunds will always be processed within the legal maximum of 14 days from the date your cancellation request is received.

Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

8. Subscription Products (If Applicable)

If Chirpy Pages offers subscription-based digital products, cancellation rights apply only to the initial purchase, not to automatic renewals. Renewal and cancellation rules will be shown on each subscription product page.

9. Local Consumer Rights

This policy works alongside any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country. Where such laws apply, they override any conflicting terms.
