This sentence editing worksheet grade 1 helps students fix capitals and punctuation in short sentences. Kids read sentences with mistakes (for example my cat sleeps a lot?), circle what is wrong, and identify missing capital letters or incorrect ending marks.
Students then rewrite each sentence correctly on the lines provided. In the bottom section, kids point to or say what they fixed in one sentence, building editing awareness.
