At the bustling Nut Harvest Market, Harper’s colorful chalk drawings always made everyone smile. Her chalk danced across the pavement, creating rainbows and happy animals.

Nearby, Ivy carefully watered her prize sunflower while bees and butterflies buzzed happily around the bright yellow petals.

Harper rushed to finish a giant butterfly drawing. ‘Almost done!’ she said, stepping back quickly. CRACK! She bumped right into Ivy’s sunflower pot.

The tall sunflower wobbled and fell over. Harper felt a flash of impatience. ‘Oh no!’ she whispered, hiding the broken stem under some leaves.

Soon, Ivy noticed her drooping sunflower. ‘My sunflower!’ she cried. The bees buzzed sadly, and butterflies fluttered slowly around the bent stem.

Nora walked over and put a hand on Harper’s shoulder. ‘Do you know what happened?’ she asked gently, her voice kind but honest.

Harper’s stomach felt heavy with guilt. She looked at Ivy’s worried face and the sad insects. Her own impatience had caused this mess.

Harper took a deep breath. ‘I was impatient and knocked it over,’ she admitted. ‘I’m really sorry.’ Her friends’ faces softened immediately.
