Carson’s secret trail behind the shimmering waterfall was the most exciting discovery in Bubble-Eye Town!

Zuri the Zebra couldn’t wait to explore, her hooves tapping with excitement as she trotted toward the glowing crystals.

“Ooh, sparkly!” Zuri whispered, turning to admire a rainbow crystal cluster. Her swishy tail bumped something on a nearby rock—CRACK! Mina’s special light-projector tumbled to the ground, breaking into pieces.

Zuri’s heart did a flip-flop. Broken pieces scattered everywhere. “Oh no,” she breathed, her stripes suddenly feeling too tight. She felt a big knot in her tummy.

Later, Mina found her gadget. “My projector!” she cried, her eyes wide. Zuri’s voice squeaked, “I haven’t seen it!” But her dusty stripes and droopy ears told a different story.

Carson noticed Zuri’s sad face. “Something on your mind?” he asked softly, giving her a gentle, knowing look. Zuri shuffled her hooves nervously.

Watching Mina sadly poke at the broken pieces, Zuri’s tummy felt full of wiggly worms. Her lie was making everything feel worse and worse.

Zuri took a big zebra breath. “I need to tell the truth,” she said, a tear sparkling. “I broke it by accident. I’m really, really sorry.”

Together, they fixed the projector with glittery tape and lots of giggles. Zuri discovered that honest “oopses” bring friends closer than hidden secrets ever could!
