The Lost Star Lantern
This is a short story about bravery with moral, showing how courage grows when we try even while feeling scared.
Snowflake Planet glittered with tiny frozen lights that twinkled across the sky.
Stella walked across the snow thinking hard, Hannah listened quietly noticing unspoken worries, Bobo stayed steady and loyal, and Bumi bounced around making everyone laugh through the cold.
That evening they prepared for the Winter Glow Parade, but Stella realized her star lantern was missing and must have fallen on the trail.
Bumi encouraged a search with playful confidence, and Hannah gently pointed out that Stella was scared to walk back alone into the dark snow forest.
Bobo promised she wouldn’t be alone and the four friends followed her footprints together.
Bumi joked softly to keep everyone smiling, Hannah offered warm encouragement, and Bobo led with calm strong steps.
As the wind picked up and shadows stretched across the snow, Stella admitted she still wanted to keep going even though she was afraid.
Hannah reminded her that bravery means trying while scared.
They soon spotted a faint glow under a snowdrift and Stella brushed it off to reveal her lantern shining safely beneath. Bobo said she found it because she didn’t give up, and Stella proudly agreed that she was scared but still tried.
