Carpet Race Arena was bright and buzzing with color. Magic carpets zipped in loops, flags waved wildly, and laughter filled the air. Nini the Nightingale sang calm little tunes for nervous racers. Bumi the Baboon did goofy dances that made everyone giggle. Pia the Peacock strutted proudly, and Tito the Toucan asked endless curious questions.

One afternoon, a new kid named Lila arrived holding a small, plain carpet. “Is… is it okay if I race too?” she whispered. Pia blinked. “Your carpet looks a bit simple,” she said without thinking. Lila’s shoulders drooped.

Nini stopped singing. “Quiet hearts are strong too,” she said softly. Bumi rolled in front of Lila and made a silly face. “I bet that carpet has secret zoom power!” Tito hopped closer. “Want help practicing first?”

They all agreed. Nini sang a bravery song while Lila practiced. Bumi showed her his “wiggle turn.” Tito pointed out safe paths. Even Pia stepped forward. “I’m sorry,” she said gently. “Can I ride beside you for a practice lap?” Lila smiled. “I’d love that.”

When the next race came, Lila didn’t win—but she finished strong, with friends cheering her name the whole way.

Her carpet wasn’t fancy, but her courage sparkled brighter than any flags in the arena.

Lila whispered, “This feels better than winning.” Her friends nodded, proud and smiling through the colorful breeze.
