The school near the forest always felt a little magical. Birds chirped outside the windows, and sunlight made every classroom glow.
Amelia loved telling stories about everything she saw, Harper expressed feelings through colors, Jack lightened tense moments with gentle jokes, and Ella spread cheerful words everywhere she went.
One morning, the class had a “Big Forest Drawing Day.” Everyone rushed for supplies — but only one large sheet of forest-green paper was left.
Amelia and Harper grabbed it at the same time, each needing it for their project.
They froze, unsure what to do.
Jack stepped in joking softly to break the tension. Ella suggested they slow down and find a calm solution.
Harper traced the edge of the paper, thinking. She suggested sharing it — Amelia could draw the trees, and Harper could add the colors.
Amelia’s eyes brightened. The idea sounded better than working alone.
They spread the paper on a desk.
