Winter Lantern Town sparkled like a snowy dream. Colorful lanterns hung from every roof glowing warm against the cold wind.

Ella hummed cheerfully, Grace noticed who felt left out, Yani the Yak walked gently beside them, and Pip the Parrot offered nonstop funny advice.

As they turned a corner they found Ella’s little brother Milo standing beside a sled that looked far too big for him, his mittens and smile drooping.

Ella asked what was wrong, and Milo explained he couldn’t pull the sled up Lantern Hill and didn’t want to be left out.

Grace understood immediately, saying he just needed someone to help him feel included. Yani knelt down kindly offering to help pull the sled.

Pip swooped low shouting silly encouragements while Ella held Milo’s hand promising they would go together.

Their little team formed: Yani pulled the sled with strong gentle steps, Grace walked beside Milo to help him feel confident, Ella cheered him on, and Pip made him laugh with funny comments like “Zoom responsibly!”

At the top of Lantern Hill Milo climbed onto the sled and Ella sat behind him wrapping her arms around him for support.

They slid down together sending snow into sparkling sprays, and Milo reached the bottom smiling brighter than any lantern in town.
