Floating Book Isle was an island in the clouds where books drifted like balloons. Carson loved discovering new reading corners and hidden bridges. Olive walked quietly in front, guiding everyone with gentle words. Harper carried her favorite sketchbook, always ready to draw her feelings in bright colors. Sofia followed with a small notebook, breaking big problems into simple steps.

One windy afternoon, they found a surprise in the library tower: a magic marker that made drawings glow softly on the page.

“There’s only one,” Olive said. “Let’s take turns.”

Harper grabbed it first. “I’ll just use it for a little while,” she said.

She started drawing glowing trees, shining stars, and floating kites.

Carson waited.
Sofia waited.
Olive waited.

But Harper kept drawing. “One more picture,” she said again and again.

Carson’s shoulders slumped. “We wanted to try too.”

Sofia spoke quietly. “We agreed to share. This doesn’t feel fair.”

She took a deep breath and did something new.

“You know what?” she said. “You can go first now. I’ll wait—and I’ll even lend you my sketchbook if you want.”

Carson’s eyes lit up. Sofia smiled. Olive’s heart felt warm. Harper sat down beside them, truly happy to watch their glowing drawings appear.
