This is a short story about respecting differences by valuing unique strengths in a group.
Lagoon Leaf Island shimmered with floating lily pads and tall trees draped in vines. Momo the Monkey swung from branch to branch, ready with clever tricks. Zazu the Chameleon blended into the leaves, noticing small details. Kali the Crocodile glided through the water with patient calm. Ollie the Owl perched above, guiding everyone with a steady voice.
One morning, the friends spotted a fruit basket drifting far from shore. They rushed toward it—but disagreed on how to reach it.
Momo wanted to jump fast. Zazu wanted to watch the water first. Kali preferred waiting for the current. Their ideas clashed, each believing their way was best.
Ollie reminded them that different strengths help more when used together.
So they tried combining their skills. Zazu studied the water, Kali positioned himself calmly, and Momo climbed high with a vine.
Zazu spotted the moment the basket drifted close. Momo hooked it quickly. Kali steadied it.
Working together made the rescue easy. The friends realized their opposite skills made a strong team.
They shared the fruit happily, proud of one another.
